Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society (HKDCS) is established in December 2003 and it is the only society dedicated to the conservation of whales, dolphins and porpoises of Hong Kong.
The mission of the society is to protect Hong Kong cetaceans through scientific research and educating the public. Donations received from the public, corporate and donors will be allocated to fund research projects on wild dolphins in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, as well as education programs to raise public awareness on importance of dolphin and marine conservation.
Action Asia Foundation is pleased to have raised over HK$26,000 for this dolphin research from a very successful Asia Miles Eco Action Asia Event in October 2008. Thanks again to Asia Miles and to all participants who entered for making it a worthy cause and a great success.
