UPDATE on Lamma - Due to the Pak Kok Village head complaining to the HK Government that they want to ban biking on Lamma, (absurd!!) Lamma location will move to Chi Ma Wan for the Volvo AA XC MTB Series Nov 28, 2010 together with an OFF ROAD DUATHLON (5km run-12km mtn bike-5km run). Hopefully with your support we can get a bike event at Lamma in Spring.

NOV 28, 2010 - CHI MA WAN, LANTAU - MAP BELOW. PLEASE NOTE THEIR ARE 2 RACES GOING ON AT SAME TIME. YOU CAN ENTER THE MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE OR YOU CAN ENTER THE RUN-BIKE-RUN DUATHLON. NOT BOTH.

VOLVO AA XC MTB Race 4  – 12km (1 loop) & 24km (2 loop). Solo only.
1 loop – HK$200 with shirt
2 loops – HK$220 with shirt (The Pacific Coffee Cup)
8:30am - Registration race number & shirt pick up, luggage check-in.
9:50am – Race starts (Group rolling style start with road first lap to prison)

VOLVO AA Off Road DUATHLON – 5km run – 12km mtn bike – 5km run
Solo and Relay team option. (For relay 1 person runs and 1 person bikes. If both members on course same time disqualification).
Solo – HK$300 with shirt
Relay – HK$400 with shirts
8:30am - Registration race number & shirt pick up, luggage check-in.
9:30am – Race starts

QUICK DRY SHIRT INCLUDED if registered by Nov 15. If registered after Nov 15 limited stock available and no guarantee of shirts.

Drinks: Gatorade & Meko

Toilets & Showers: Outhouse toilet at back of campsite. Showers, toilets at Pui O Beach.

XC Bike race - Medals for 2 loop top 3 age group category winners with 1 loop category winners certificates. Pacific Coffee Cup to overall Male and Female winner of 2 loop race. Note special trophy for overall Male and Female winner of Volvo AA XC MTB Series.

HK$500 cash for Overall top individual male of 2 lap XC Bike race.
HK$500 cash for Overall top individual women of 2 lap XC Bike race.

Duathlon (Run 5km - Bike 12km - Run 5km) - Medals for top 3 in all solo age groups and top 3 teams in Mens Open, Masters comb age 80+, Mixed, Women.

SOLO - Men 16-29, Men 30-39, Men 40-49, Men 50+, Open Women

Relay - Mens, Womens, Mixed, Masters comb age 80+

Both races - Some category prizes from SRAM, BELL, Flying Ball, ProGold Lubricants, HK Bike.

All competitors will be posted to this page in confirmed entry as an attachment on this website within 2 weeks after paying. If wrong spelling or missing name email us.


Changes, Cancellation & Refunds
Strictly no refunds once payment is made.  No transfer of credit is possible. Race Director has the final say on all matters.


Bike Numbers and Personal Bag Check:
Bike numbers for your bike handlebars, a category letter (XC only) for your back, race numbers & pins for Duathlon and shirts for all to be picked up at registration 1 hour before race start. Bag check at registration area at CMW entrance (Shap Lung Kau Tsuen) about 2km from Pui O.


Drinks:
Water and sport drink AFTER first lap and NOT AT START so come with water ready to start. Water, sport drink and BEER at finish.

Gels:

High5 gels for everyone at registration in XC Bike.

Shirts: T-shirt for everyone
