Action Asia Events - [EVENTS]

AA XC MTB Series. Lamma Island, Hong Kong. (Race 4 of 4).

It was a great battle between Cheng Cheuk Chun and Piers Touzel, but at the end of the day and after almost 5 hours of riding with over 70km locked down Touzel had unfinished business from last year to take care of and pushed hard. Cheng cramped and dropped only by 3 minutes for an impressive 2nd overall with Touzel taking the AA XC MTB Lamma 5 Hr Enduro Cup back to Beijing while Cheng took home the Pacific Coffee Cup for gaining the most points in the 4 race AA XC MTB Enduro series. Sean Ho was all smiles as she took home 3 trophies (age group, Pacific Coffee Cup for also winning the series and the AA XC MTB Lamma 5 Hr Enduro Cup for gaining the most points in the 4 race series.

Open to Individual & relay teams of 2. Course lengths are 2.5 hrs & 5 hrs on project x course.

CONCEPT:
Individuals or relay teams of two can take as many breaks as they want as the number of laps they complete will decide on the overall placing.
 

8:30am - Registration starts at Cable Rd above Tai Peng Village

9:15am - Race briefing at start

9:30am - Start (5hr individual & relay teams)

9:40am - Start (2.5hr individual & relay teams)

note their is an 08:00 ferry but usually they don't allow bikes on this one...

Aberdeen - If anyone knows the Aberdeen pier where the sampans hang out - sometimes you can get them to take you to Pak Kok pier on Lamma....

Changes, Cancellation & Refunds
Strictly no refunds once payment is made.  No transfer of credit is possible. Race Director has the final say on all matters.

Bike Numbers and Personal Bag Check:
Bike numbers for your bike handlebars, a category letter for your back, a High5 gel, Fat Angelos certificate (and shirts if you've paid extra) to be picked up at registration 1 hour before race start. Bag check at registration area.

Drinks:
Meko & Gatorade on course and finish. And Pure Blonde beer at finish

Gels:

High5 gels for everyone at registration.

Trophies for top 3 in each individual and relay team category in 5 hr race.
