About This Event
Get ready for a premier Hong Kong Ultra Marathon Trail Run as Action Asia Events presents the spectacular Sai Kung 50 (race 2 of the HK50 series). The challenging 50km and 35km categories kick off in the first wave from Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung, followed immediately by the dynamic 22km and 12km distances.
This world-class course showcases some of the most beautiful coastal beaches in Hong Kong, offering gorgeous ocean views as runners hike over Sai Wan Shan and Lo Tei Wan, passing through Long Ke Wan, Ham Tin Wan, and Tai Wan. The route then leads athletes over Tai Long Au into the serene Chek Keng waterfront before tackling a highly technical climb up the Lok Wu Trail and over Tai Cham Koi (408m), before descending back to Pak Tam Chung.
While the 35km competitors cross their finish line, the elite 50km category heads up to Pak Tam Au, conquering Ngau Yee Shek Shan and Kai Kung Shan along the famous MacLehose Trail until reaching Sai Sha Road. For a dose of technical mountain fun, runners will then cross Kai Kung Shan a second time before returning to Pak Tam Chung via Pak Tam Village.
The accessible 12km and 22km options feature shorter course versions, heading out along Sai Wan Road before looping back to Tai Cham Koi and the Pak Tam Chung finish line. Please review the detailed map graphs inside our dedicated Course tab to choose your ideal adventure distance.
