Transport How To Get There

There are many ways to get to Almaty, but we recommend saving money by going 1 day earlier on Thurs Sept 12 and if going departing thru Hong Kong as example:

HK - Guangzhou or Shenzhen - Urumuqi - Almaty

HK - Beijing - Almaty

HK - Seoul - Almaty

Singapore - KL - Almaty

Singapore - Delhi - Almaty

Tokyo - Seoul - Almaty

 

this will perhaps be slightly lower cost and little waiting time in airport and can arrive Thurs night, chill out in hotel, go for a beer, good sleep, then next day depart around 2pm on bus out of Almaty. 

Will work out hotel rate for extra night shortly but Action Asia might just include the hotel free of charge in the existing entry fee as we don't want you worrying to much. Also if any luggage you don't want on trip or you go shopping in Almaty you can leave at hotel. We do this in Nepal also and works out nicely.

 

THE IDEA IS THAT WE WANT TO DEPART ALMATY AROUND 2PM IN THE DAY AS A 4 HOUR BUS RIDE TO DESTINATION AS WILL JUST BE GETTING DARK, MUST EAT DINNER, DO RACE BRIEFING AND GO TO SLEEP AS EARLY RACE START.
