Two races with MSIG Lantau VK (Vertical Kilometer) and the exciting (and very tough) 50km (with shorter 19km/23km) trail runs the same weekend. So if coming from overseas to Hong Kong and thinking of doing Sunday's main event, consider doing the VK on Saturday morning as a warm-up for the 50k/23k/19k on Sunday morning.
Buses - Will be departing Tung Chung and Mui Wo and can be included in entry.
TUNG CHUNG - Action Asia Bus departure Tung Chung at 7:45am at Tung Fuk bus terminal for the 28 people that paid as AAE staff will be there to assit. There is also a 7:30am bus that staff will pay to put you on (HK$25) and if for some reason you paid and get on a public bus, AAE will just give you back the HK$25 at start line as public buses are faster and more convenient leaving 7:25am, 7:30am, 7:45am from Tung Chung bus station (see above photos).
MUI WO - 8am Mui Wo taxi stand. Look for VANS with Action Asia sign in front window. Need bustransport ticket which will be tagged to race number that you get at race pack pickup.
Insurance - The event has its own public liability insurance coverage, but we recommend that all participants get their own personal accident coverage to cover any personal accidents.
Medical - As this event involves going into the mountains we recommend all particpants to have gone to a medical checkup before the event to make sure you are physically fit enough to handle this kind of physical challenge.
